With our Modular Power Packs (MPP), the safety net is always on. Our MPP technologies provide OEMs with greater serviceability, optimized packaging and increased cost savings.
Modular Power Packs
Configurations
Our MPPs are available in two families of geometric configurations. This allows the EPS system to be tailored to the customer’s sizing and packaging needs, while its standardized parts reduce cost.
Both configurations can be fitted to all four steering systems, including 48 Volt options:
- Column-Assist EPS (CEPS)
- Pinion-Assist EPS (PEPS)
- Rack-Assist EPS (REPS)
- Steer-by-Wire (SbW)
This flexibility provides common design building blocks while maintaining the customer’s ability to optimize its system.
Full Cylindrical, High Redundancy MPP
We offer market-leading packaging and technical content options, including designs that cover ranges including PEPS: 6-15kN and REPS: 10-27kN. These also enable advanced safety and performance for SAE Levels 2/3, as well as less than 10 FIT to less than 700 FIT safety ratings.
In addition, we offer content for autonomous vehicle and SbW applications that enables advanced safety and performance for SAE Levels 4/5 and less than 10 FIT compatibility.
Flexible Single Board, High Redundancy MPP
We also offer a flexible MPP option for standardized, single-board designs that allows for maximum flexibility of OEM harness connection – thus enabling efficiencies in OEM assembly.
