AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – Aug. 8, 2017 – Nexteer Automotive, a global leader in intuitive motion control, today announced the opening of a new branch customer service center (CSC) in Atsugi, Japan. This strategic addition to Nexteer’s footprint adds expanded customer support for Nissan and the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance through application-specific engineering projects and coordination with its globally connected resources.
As Nexteer’s second location in Japan, the Atsugi CSC expands the company’s ability to better serve Japanese customers. Nexteer’s debut into the Japanese automotive industry was through its Tokyo CSC, providing sales, engineering, quality and program management services since 2008.
“Guided by our customer-oriented culture, we have chosen to add our new customer service center in Atsugi for increased proximity to our customers and to provide broadened services,” said Li Jun, chief operating officer, Nexteer Automotive Asia Pacific Division. “As with each of our global locations, we are focused on building sustainable relationships and strive to grow together with our customers.”
With the addition of the Atsugi CSC, Nexteer now operates 13 customer service centers strategically located in North and South America, Europe and Asia.
“Our relationship with Nissan-Mitsubishi has grown over the years. It is gratifying that our customers view us as a strategic partner due to our global presence,” said James Burghardt, engineering director and customer service centers director, Nexteer Automotive Asia Pacific Division. “With the combined local support from the Atsugi and Tokyo customer service centers, Nexteer continues to provide high quality products, rapid response times and reliable service for its Japanese OEM customers.”
