DEARBORN, Mich., May 23, 2018 – Nexteer Automotive was recognized as a top-performing global supplier for Ford Motor Company, receiving two awards at the 20th annual Ford World Excellence Awards. Only 88 companies were selected as finalists from thousands of Ford suppliers globally.
Nexteer Automotive was presented with the World Excellence Awards by Ford Motor Company’s Joe Hinrichs, executive vice president and president, global operations, and Hau Thai-Tang, executive vice president, product development and purchasing.
Nexteer earned the award for achieving the highest levels of global excellence based on the Aligned Business Framework principals which focuses on quality, delivery, value and innovation. Additionally, Nexteer received the Silver Award, recognizing the company’s steering gear manufacturing facility in El Marques, QRO C.P. Mexico.
