AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – February 12, 2024 – Dan Dralle, Nexteer Automotive’s Executive Director of US Government Affairs and Global Cost Improvement Process (CIP), was recently elected to the board of governors of the Manufacturing Leadership Council (MLC), the digital transformation arm of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM).
Dralle joins 17 other MLC governors, who represent the full spectrum of industries and functional roles including large global enterprises, small and medium-sized manufacturers, leading academic institutions and a full array of areas of expertise.

The MLC is the nation’s foremost executive leadership organization dedicated to helping manufacturing companies transition to the digital model of manufacturing by focusing on the technological, organizational and leadership dimensions of change. As an advisory body, the MLC Board of Governors provides guidance to the MLC on its Critical Issues agenda, research studies and its programs and services for the MLC membership.
As Nexteer’s executive director of US government affairs and global CIP, Dralle is responsible for all US and community government affairs and global continuous improvement for all Nexteer divisions. Prior to his current assignment, Dralle was executive director of global manufacturing engineering, materials, prototype, facilities and manufacturing information technology. He has also held several executive positions in product engineering, operations, manufacturing engineering amid three international assignments. Dralle holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University and as a GM Fellow, he earned a master’s degree in management from the Krannert School of Business at Purdue University.
